Happy World Oceans Day! πŸ’™πŸŒπŸŒŠ

Today we celebrate the waters that shape our Island and sustain so much life along our shores. πŸŸπŸ¦€πŸͺΌπŸ¦žπŸšπŸͺΈ

Here on PEI, the ocean is part of our identity. A place where wildlife, community, and natural beauty meet. World Oceans Day is a moment to appreciate the marine life that surrounds us and the powerful role our oceans play in the balance of our environment.

Honouring the ocean means recognizing its importance in our daily lives and the life it supports beneath the surface. πŸŒŠπŸ’™

Hi Chad! πŸ‘‹πŸ₯”πŸšœπŸ’š

Meet farmer Chad Mooney!

Before a PEI potato reaches your plate, there's a lot of work happening in the field. In this interview, Chad takes us back to where it all begins, from preparing the soil and planting the crop to the potential he sees in every field.

Learn why PEI is so well-suited for growing potatoes, how new technology is helping potato farmers, and what makes a PEI potato special.
