Hello everyone!

We would like to wish Pattie Cunningham all the best with her Pride in the Park BBQ this Saturday! It’s SO wonderful to see Pride Events grow in our small community!

Unfortunately, due to previous commitments this weekend, our committee members will not be in attendance.

Please be on the lookout for a post regarding our annual Paint the Pride Crosswalk Celebration! This year marks our 5th Anniversary, so we hope to see you all there on the Island with us to celebrate!

Did you know? We have an indoor, accessible, parade viewing area with washroom access and climate control? It’s also a little quieter there.
It’s at Canada life centre, on the second floor. There’s an elevator that takes you to our seating area
Everyone is welcome! Doors open at 10:45am
Walk-ins are permitted but limited space is available.

My dad coached my soccer team.

He scheduled the practices. He ran the drills. He yelled encouragingly from the sideline in a way that was somehow still embarrassing.

He coached the team because his kid wanted to play, and he wanted to make sure it was a safe place where his kid actually could.

That's just what dads do.
