We had a fantastic session on fraud awareness at our Seniors Luncheon featuring Scott Brandle at Blind Bay Hall & Community Events! Thank you, Scott, for sharing your knowledge, valuable insights, and practical tips to help keep our seniors informed and protected. 👏

A big thank you to Little pine catering for providing lunch, and to the New Horizons for Seniors Program for providing the grant funding that made this program possible!

We’re also grateful to our wonderful volunteers and to all the seniors who joined us. Thank you for continuing to support these community gatherings!

What a wonderful turnout!

We were thrilled to welcome 100 community members and community partners to our Seniors Luncheon featuring BC’s Seniors Advocate, Dan Levitt, at the Shuswap Lake Estates Community Centre!

It was an informative and engaging afternoon, with Dan sharing valuable insights and attendees sharing their own personal stories about the pressing issues and challenges affecting seniors across the province. These conversations are so important in helping ensure that the voices and experiences of older adults are heard.

A heartfelt thank you to Dan Levitt for joining us and connecting with our community.

Thank you to Blind Bay Village Grocer for providing another delicious lunch, as always!

And a huge thank you to United Way BC for funding this fantastic community event and helping make these meaningful conversations possible.

We are so grateful to everyone who came out, volunteered with set up and take down, participated, shared their stories, and helped make the afternoon such a success!
