Camping for Care Association One of our goals is to bring awareness to the over 6 MILLION Canadians who at this time do NOT have access to a medical professional of any kind.

In October 2022, after many failed attempts to get consistent, informed medical care, I decided to do something about it. I camped out in downtown Whitehorse Yukon, to try and raise some awareness for the over 3400 person wai

tlist for a medical professional, just in the Yukon. Many people reached out to me with very similar stories. No walk in clinics, ridiculously long wait times/lists, lack of research etc. I learned this was a Canada wide issue and that over 6 MILLION Canadians currently do not have a medical professional of any kind. I created Camping for Care Association in an attempt to try and gather information on what areas of our current Health Care System need to be changed or have added services/research. We hope to be able to identify "cracks" in the current system and find Viable solutions to present to the Government so that every Canadian can have consistent access to Informed Health Care. Ottawa found money quickly for a GST holiday. Why not for the Canada Disability Benefit?

Opinion: If billions can suddenly be found for untargeted giveaways, why has the CDB been relegated to fiscal crumbs? Canada has the resources and the responsibility to do better

One of our directors has multiple chronic conditions. She got a family doctor today, after almost 5 years without one!! She feels very Blessed.

A new CUPW Collective agreent is 6 YEARS OVERDUE.
Canada Post is NOT and has NOT been negotiating in good faith.

Unions have a right to strike in order to ensure fair collective agreements. When the government intervenes and forces union workers back to work, the government has infringed upon those rights.
