Sooke Meals on Wheels is incredibly grateful for the amazing support from our community during our very first Bottle Drive!

Thanks to your generosity, we raised $1,300, with 100% of the proceeds going directly toward reducing the cost of meals for our clients.

Every bottle donated helps us continue providing nutritious, affordable meals to those in our community who rely on this important service.

To everyone who donated bottles, volunteered their time, helped spread the word, or supported us in any way, thank you for making our first Bottle Drive such a tremendous success!

Together, we're making a real difference in Sooke, one meal at a time. ❤️

A very kind message from one of our clients.

Hi again Sooke meals on wheels. Just wanted again to reach out with such appreciation for my meals. Certainly I have my favorites meals. Those who add the homemade deserts get extra kudos.

Overall this program has been such a huge help in my wellness. It helps with decision fatigue, proper nutrients, variety in my diet so very helpful for my gut health. It helps with my energy throughout the week, standing chopping dicing and kitchen prep is very fatiguing. My brain is heathier with the worry and concern of grocery store decision making. Cooking for one with all the ingredients often would lead to food waste and I would feel horrible if things went bad knowing some families don't have enough. The portions are perfect and sometimes I can save my bun or soup for a second meal or use the bun for egg salad sandwich the next day.

I appreciate the smiles and kindness of the volunteers, who really are making a difference in our community. Happy and safe long weekend to each of you.
