Join Wear 2 Start November 14–15, 2026 at the James Bay Community School Centre for the Wear2Start Winter Market, a special two-day indoor event celebrating 25 Years of Confidence.

We're inviting local makers, artisans, and small businesses to showcase their products in a welcoming community market that celebrates dignity, confidence, empowerment, and connection. This event is designed to prioritize and support self-identified women and gender-diverse individuals, while bringing together shoppers who love supporting local businesses. Sooke Fine Arts is hosting the Sooke Fine Arts Show New Quiet Hour,

Date: Monday, July 27
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

During Quiet Hour, we will create a welcoming atmosphere with no music or extra noise, lower sensory stimulation, and less people, so the show can be experienced at a more relaxed pace.

We would be delighted to welcome your organization and the individuals you support to be among the first to experience this new initiative.

Admission rates are $17 / adult, $12 / senior.
Care givers are no charge.

If bringing more than 10 people (not including care givers), we can provide a 10% group discount on entry fees.

Access to this event is invitation only, so please RSVP if you plan to attend.

Building Bridges Community Support is seeking a part time Home Share Coordinator for 12 hours per week
The Home Share Coordinator is responsible for achieving the objectives of the Home Share services, including: recruiting, screening, and selecting potential home share providers; ongoing support and monitoring of existing home share providers; and
supporting the individuals in home share placements.

The Home Share Coordinator must be familiar with and in compliance with Community Living BC standards and Building Bridges Community Support Policies and Procedures relating to home share.
