The Scout Trees fundraiser is back and 1st Sooke would love your support. You may purchase a tree for $10 and it will be planted by Canada Forest Trust Corporation in a Canadian forest in need of restoration. This year the forest will be in Alberta. Our group will receive $4 for every tree sold, while $5.50 goes to the CFTC for planting, monitoring, and maintaining the tree while the remaining $0.50 is for administrative costs such as transaction fees and the online dashboard.
