Rapport sur les dons des Auxiliaires à l'hôpital de Smooth Rock Falls :
De 1972 à 2026, les Auxiliaires ont donné $294,763.00 à l'hôpital. Le rapport des dons est divisé en quatre périodes distinctes.

1. L'ancien hôpital auprès de la rivière / À noter : un don de $2,000.00 versé au fonds de construction de l'hôpital.
2. Ouverture d'une boutique au nouvel hôpital / À noter : un don de $14,000.00 pour l'achat d'un respirateur de transport.
3. Boutique déménagée au hall d'entrée de l'hôpital / À noter : $15,336.00 pour la phase 1 des rénovations du salon des soins de longue durée. De plus, $31,158.00 pour des chaises dans divers secteurs de l'hôpital.
4. Seize derniers mois d'activités / À noter : $40,000 pour d'importantes rénovations au belvédère extérieur (gazebo) Total des dons versés durant ces 16 mois : $81,690.00.

Report on Auxiliary donations to the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital:
From 1972 to 2026, the Hospital Auxiliary donated $294,763.00 to the hospital. The donations report is divided into 4 distinct periods.
1. The old hospital by the river / Of note: $2,000.00 donated to the hospital building fund.
2. The gift shop at the new hospital / Of note: $14,000 for a transport ventilator.
3. New open concept gift shop in the hospital lobby / Of note: $15, 336 for phase 1 of the LTC Lounge renovations. Also, $31,158.00 for chairs in various areas of the hospital.
4. Final 16-months of operation / Of note: $40,000 for major upgrades to the outdoor gazebo. Total donated during this 16-month period: $81,690.

Oui, c’est officiel : l’Association des Auxiliaires de l’hôpital est maintenant dissoute. Nous avons reçu notre certificat de dissolution le 15 avril 2026.

L'inventaire de la boutique a été liquidé et nos fonds ont été remis à l'hôpital de Smooth Rock Falls pour soutenir divers projets. Un rapport sur les dons est en préparation et sera publié sur nos deux pages Facebook d'ici 15 jours.

L'association des Auxiliaires est profondément reconnaissante envers la communauté de Smooth Rock Falls pour son soutien exceptionnel tout au long de nos 53 années d'activité. Ce fut une aventure mémorable ! Un grand merci !

Yes, it's official: the Hospital Auxiliary has been dissolved. Our dissolution certificate was issued on April 15, 2026.

The gift shop inventory has been liquidated, and our funds have been donated to the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital in support of various projects. A donations report is being prepared and will be posted on our two pages within 15 days.

The Auxiliary is deeply grateful to the Smooth Rock Falls community for its outstanding support throughout our 53 years of operation. It has been a memorable adventure! Our heartfelt thanks!

Auxiliary flashback to 2006 - (From Auxiliary archives)

The year 2006 was a banner year for our Auxiliary:
1. We hosted our 3rd Regional Auxiliary Conference at Ste-Gertude parish hall, with 80 attendees from surrounding hospitals. (Photos bottom left)
2. We held our 2nd Tree of Lights Vigil on November 28 in the hospital atrium, culminating with the lighting of the outdoor trees. (Photos bottom middle)
3. We had the grand opening of our Boutique on October 30. (Photos on the right)

Un retour en arrière vers 2006 (Tiré des archives des Auxiliaires)

L’année 2006 a été mémorable pour les Auxiliaires:
1. Nous avons parrainé notre 3e Conférence régionale à la salle paroissiale de l’église Ste-Gertrude, regroupant 80 membres auxiliaires des hôpitaux environnants. (Photos côté gauche)
2. Nous avons tenu notre 2e Vigile des Lumières le 28 novembre dans l’atrium de l’hôpital, suivie de l’éclairage des sapins extérieurs. (Photos en bas au centre)
3. Nous avons eu l’ouverture officielle de notre nouvelle Boutique le 30 octobre. (Photos côté droit)
