Our recent Strawberry Social and Open House was another great success. It was amazing to see a large number of people come out to enjoy fresh Ontario strawberries and Ice Cream. There were many familiar faces along with many new people who received a chance to check us out a bit further. We love telling the Gleaner story to those who may not have heard about us yet. A shout-out to Ria and Pat and their crew of servers as we all enjoyed another wonderful community building event at the Gleaners.

It’s always amazing to see where the NCG boxes end up. We are beyond thankful this food made it to Cuba on a blended aid shipment. God is good!

Eggplant for days! We are beyond thankful to see all this produce coming into our facility. We hope to see more as we head into the growing season. A special thanks goes out to our grower partners and those who donate this abundance of food to the world.

Our volunteers are very special. We simply could not do this work without the support and assistance of hundreds of dedicated people each week. Every volunteer makes a difference. The work of NCG impacts lives in real and meaningful ways all around the world. Thank you for all that you do!

Last weekend we had our annual fundraising dinners. We were blessed to be able to raise over $155,000 towards our operating expenses. Many thanks to those who attended and helped us by volunteering their time to help make it a success. The glory is the Lord’s as we continue this work of mercy in a hurting and hungry world.

We are so grateful for all of our volunteers the past weeks especially when the weather was a bit questionable. The food is being processed and dried in good time. The Lord ordains all that we accomplish and when we put our trust in Him the work gets done.
