🌽 THANK YOU, SILVERDALE 🌽

What a wonderful evening at our Annual Chilli Soup & Corn Roast.🍲🌽

A huge thank you to everyone who came out tonight, shared a meal, enjoyed some dessert, chatted with neighbours and friends, and helped make the evening a community success. Your generosity and support mean so much to us!

Our Community Centre is proudly self-sustaining, and events like this help us continue to cover the costs of maintaining and operating this special place for our community. Every donation, every volunteer hour, and every person who walks through our doors makes a difference. ❤️

A very special THANK YOU to all of our amazing volunteers who donated their time, energy, food, desserts and countless behind-the-scenes hours to make tonight happen. We couldn't do it without you!

Thank you for continuing to show just how incredible a community can be. 🥰

This annual event is also an important fundraiser for the Silverdale Community Centre. As a self-sustaining Community Centre, the funds we raise through events like this help us cover the ongoing costs of keeping our doors open and our building available for the community.

With fall quickly approaching, so does the colder weather — and the past few years have brought significant increases in the cost of heating and maintaining our historic community building. Every donation and every person who comes out to support us makes a significant difference.

We are incredibly grateful to the volunteers who make these events possible and to our community for continuing to show up and support this special little piece of Silverdale. ❤️

Come hungry, bring your family and neighbours, and help us kick off the fall season together! 🍁

A very special thank you to the Township of West Lincoln for sending the crew to refresh our playground just in time for the summer festivities and the BBQ this Friday.

Countdown is on... weather looks like we may get just enough time to finish the event and then the rain is moving in. Keeping our fingers and toes crossed.
