Our Peer to Peer program youth had a great time this week at ! It was a tad bit chilly but everyone had a blast!

This summer was a FIRST for WAK! 💙 We gave some of our WAK kids the opportunity to step into leadership roles, build mentoring skills, gain valuable volunteer hours, and become positive role models for our younger campers. 🙌

And WOW… they absolutely CRUSHED IT! 👏🔥

From helping out with activities and supporting younger kids to stepping up when needed, they showed responsibility, confidence, patience, and leadership all summer long. We couldn’t be more proud of the young leaders they are becoming!

Here’s to the first year of our WAK Peer to Peer Program — and hopefully the first of many! 🌟🙌

📢 WAK Summer Closure & Regular Hours Return! ☀️

WAK will be closed from August 24th to September 7th.

We’ll be back and ready to welcome everyone on Tuesday, September 8th, returning to our regular hours of 2:00–6:00 PM! 🎉

🌞 Long Weekend Reminder! 🌞

Just a friendly reminder that WAK will be closed on Monday, August 3rd for the Civic Holiday.

Looking for somewhere to go on Thursdays? This looks fun!

Calling all gamers! It’s time for a Middle School Game Club at the Smiths Falls Public Library! Each week we will feature a different game and gaming snacks will be provided. The club meets every Thursday at 4:30pm-6:00pm at the library. This is a free, drop-in program, so no registration is required. See you there! Ages 11+
