๐ŸŽ‰ Congratulations, LC Elhert! ๐ŸŽ‰

We are so incredibly proud of LC Elhert for receiving the Katherine Elan McGinn Memorial Award at HMCS Quadra! ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆโš“๏ธ

This special award is presented to the most enthusiastic music cadet during summer training and honours the memory of Katherine Elan McGinn. It is traditionally presented at the campโ€™s final graduation, making this recognition even more special.

LC Elhertโ€™s enthusiasm, dedication, and love of music clearly made an impression throughout the summer. What an amazing accomplishment and something to be very proud of!

Congratulations, Elhert! You earned it!

ACR 2026 was fantastic! Uniforms were amazing,
drill was sharp, and the static displays
showcased all of the hard work you have put in
and everything you have accomplished over the
program year. We are very proud of you all.
Thank you to the members of our reviewing
party: Conservation Officer Flint Knibbs,
Commanding Officer Captain John Callaghan,
and the Legion Representative Jean Groenink.
A special thank you as well to Smithers
Emergency Services Coordinator Matt Herzog
and Captain Melissa Winsor (RCACC 3020) who
came to help present awards, as well as to the
Deputy Commanding Officer of RCSU Pacific
Major Randy Fisher.
And thank you to all of the family and friends
who support the cadets throughout the year,
ensuring that they get to parade nights and
weekend adventures, and encourage them to get
all that they can out of their cadet journey. We
couldn't do it without you.
Lastly, Bravo Zulu to all of the cadets who
earned awards this year. Your hard work and
dedication are an inspiration to the corps and
don't go unnoticed.

What a parade night!

A huge congratulations to Cadet Smith on earning her Level One Marksmanship Badge! Your hard work and dedication on the range are paying off, and we are proud to see your progress.

We would also like to congratulate our newest Petty Officer First Class cadets, Cramer, Dash, and Pozzo. This is a significant achievement that reflects your commitment, leadership, and continued growth within the corps. Well done!

This week's parade had a noticeably different atmosphere, and it turns out our cadets had quietly decided that a little extra fun and relaxation was in order. While the staff may not have received the memo, everyone seemed to enjoy the change of pace! It's always great to see enthusiasm, teamwork, and plenty of smiles during training.

Finally, congratulations to NCdt Briere on successfully graduating Basic Officers Training at Vernon CTC. Not only did he complete the course, but he made it back just in time to be available for yesterday's practice. Welcome back, and well done on this important milestone!
