The Association for Mineral Exploration (AME) is calling on the federal government to expand Canadian Exploration Expenses (CEE) to include technical studies, engineering and feasibility costs for eligible mineral projects.

Bulkley Valley Exhibition August 27 to 30 in Smithers

It's that time of year again—the BV Fall Fair is fast approaching!

We are looking for both Volunteers and Outreach Workers to help staff the Smithers Exploration Group (SEG) booth during this year's fair. Whether you can help for a few hours or several shifts, your support would be greatly appreciated. This is a great opportunity to connect with the community and help promote geology, mineral exploration, mining, and earth science education.

🔎 SEG is looking for industry experts!

Smithers Exploration Group is hoping to be at the Town of Smithers Street Fair on July 18th from 12pm to 4pm, and we are looking for outreach workers from the exploration and mining industry to help share their knowledge and passion with our community.

Do you have experience in geology, mining, exploration, environmental science, reclamation, or another area of the industry? We would love to have you join us for a fun day of hands-on activities, conversations, and helping people learn more about the important work happening in our region.

No outreach experience is required — just a willingness to share your story and answer questions!
