The Bulkley Valley Community Resources Board (BVCRB) is a collection of local citizens with a range of value perspectives who guide local land-use decisions. It was first established in 1991 to complete the Bulkley Land and Resource Management Plan (LRMP), widely regarded as one of British Columbia’s most successful land-use plans. Today, the Board continues to play an important role in determining the future of land use in the Bulkley Valley.

We meet Monday at 7pm July 20th in the Smithers Council Chambers. Early on the agenda will be guests Frank Doyle, Larry Joseph and Patrick Ferguson to share research and action regarding goshawk management. Come on out for a presentation and discussion. Regular business to follow.

The BVCRB is not meeting this May. Instead our Directors and members are asking local government to support a public panel presentation on the pros and cons of the Telkwa Coal proposal. Our next meeting will be June 15th. Contact us to learn more.

Tonight's Monthly meeting will be held at the Smithers Exploration Group's (SEG) exploration space. Unit 101, 3423 Fulton Ave. Same time 7pm start. The public are welcome to observe! Thank-you.
