Zone 7 included kids from vanderhoof all the way to Haidi Gwaii and all the kids in between. All together the north had 12 kids, and 4 were from Telkwa. Congratulations to Tristan and his awesome run to gold, and congratulations to our 3 girls(Anna, Khloe, and Cera) on their bronze medals. Their attitude matches their skills

The past and the future 😉 (missing is Tyde)

What a weekend. To say we are proud would be an understatement.....the performance and results from this group exceeded every expectation we had going in.

With only 6 kids on the team, the impact they made was incredible:
Anna: Took home the Silver in Freestyle!
Khloe: Placed 6th in Freestyle and secured a Bronze in Greco!
Tristan & Syd: Battled through a tough bracket to secure a hard-earned 5th place finish.
Tyde & Cerawyn: so many hard fought matches and great moments in each.

Watching 6 athletes hold their own on a national stage like this is nothing short of impressive.

However, this trip was truly bittersweet. As of today, our team of 6 is now a team of 4. This tournament marked the final appearance for two of our club’s best: Tyde and Syd. You guys are leaving a hole that won't be easy to fill. We often get caught up in podiums and brackets, but the true mark of a successful athlete is the character you build when no one is watching. You showed up, worked tirelessly, and stayed the same sweet, hardworking kids through the highs and the lows. You might not have come away with every result your effort deserved, but you are leaving this sport as incredible young adults.

Thank you for everything. We’re going to miss you out there.
