Our PAC would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to supporters of our school mural projects - Slocan Valley Home Hardware, StellerVista Credit Union, and the Slocan Valley Youth Network .
Our grade 6 students got started this week creating a mural to celebrate their graduation. Over the summer we will see the exterior walls of our school transformed with big beautiful murals by the talented Matty Kakez. We can't wait for the community to see this art project come to life!

Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back and connect more deeply with your community?

Slocan Valley Better at Home is looking for caring volunteers to support local seniors so they can continue living independently and comfortably in their own homes.

We’re looking for friendly, dependable volunteers who can offer a little bit of time and a lot of heart.

This could look like:
🛒 Helping with grocery shopping
🌱 Lending a hand with gardening or yard work
☕ Stopping in for a friendly visit and conversation
🎉 Supporting social and community activities

Even just a couple of hours a week (or every other week) can make a real difference - helping reduce isolation and bringing warmth, connection, and joy into someone’s day.

We are hosting the Green Film Fest as part of their EarthDays Nelson & Area festivities, and Snk̛míp Dig Deeper is the first film to be screened!
