We’re a group of 25 active volunteers helping provide comfort items and medical equipment to patients and residents at the Slave Lake Healthcare Centre.

☀️🍰A Beautiful Day for a BBQ! 🌭🍦
The Slave Lake Hospital Auxiliary was pleased to host a BBQ today for our Long-Term Care residents and their families. With beautiful weather, delicious food, and wonderful company, it was a lovely opportunity for everyone to relax, visit, and enjoy time together.
A special thank you to Alimo's Pizzeria Slave Lake for generously donating the ice cream that provided the perfect sweet treat to finish off the day! 🍦💕
Thank you to everyone who helped make today’s BBQ such an enjoyable and memorable event for our residents and their families. Days like this are what community is all about! 💙

A Heartfelt Thank You to our 2026 Garden Sponsors 🌸

The Slave Lake Hospital Auxiliary would like to extend our sincere appreciation to two generous local businesses (Eagletech Electric Ltd. and Prax Enterprises) for their support of the Long-Term Care flower program.

Each organization generously donated $500, which helps us enhance the outdoor spaces enjoyed by our Long-Term Care residents.

Their support allows us to add beautiful flowers and seasonal colour to the gardens, creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for residents, families, and visitors. The gardens are a place to relax, visit with loved ones, and enjoy the beauty of summer; these donations help make that possible.

Community support like this truly makes a difference, and we are grateful for the continued generosity of local businesses that help us enrich the lives of those in our care.

We are very excited to officially introduce our new updated logo to the community! We feel the design perfectly reflects care, compassion, warmth, and community spirit - values that are so important to our Auxiliary.

🎓⛑️ Slave Lake Hospital Auxiliary $1,000 Healthcare Bursary ⛑️🎓

We are pleased to once again offer a $1,000 bursary to support a graduating high school student who is pursuing post-secondary education in the healthcare field.

We are proud to encourage and support local students as they begin their journey toward careers dedicated to caring for others and strengthening healthcare in our communities.

Graduating students from the following schools are invited to apply:

• Roland Michener Secondary School
•St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Academy
• Slave Lake Christian Academy

Bursary forms may be picked up directly from the schools.

We encourage interested students to apply and take advantage of this opportunity!
