SEEKING WALKMANS/MP3 PLAYERS. Do you have an old Walkman or mp3 player collecting dust in a drawer? The Lesser Slave Lake Bird Observatory will be starting up their Owl Fall Migration Monitoring program soon and they are seeking a few Walkman or mp3 players to run the audio lures on their new speaker system. If you have one that you would like to donate to their program, please call the Boreal Centre at 780-848-8240 or email [email protected]

Every summer, our amazing team delivers exciting education and research programs at the centre with the help of innovative partnerships with the Lesser Slave Lake Bird Observatory, Alberta Parks and the Lesser Slave Forest Education Society. As our summer staff get ready to head off on new adventures, join us in sending a huge thank you to our team this summer for sharing their knowledge and passion for birds and the boreal forest with all of our visitors.
