Join us on Saturday, September 19th (4:30 PM – 7:00 PM) at the Nine-Mile Recreation Area for a guided botanical wander and hands-on plant pressing session.

The Arts Council is excited to announce that yes, we have begun prepping for this year’s mural.
While we know that some people will not agree with the fact that we are covering over an old mural from 1992 we hope that you will come to love the new mural as much as the old!
The Arts Council is a group of volunteers that began the mural project in 2022. Since that time we have commissioned 6 murals by different artists and all are beautiful and unique in their own way. We look forward to seeing the 7th mural completed this year.
The mural this year is actually a 2 phase mural whereby the first phase will be a 48’ x 12’ mural to be completed this year and the second phase will be completed next year with two smaller murals on each side of the phase one mural.
Our intention is to bring art and beauty to our community for everyone to enjoy!
If you would like to get involved and have a say in our mural process we welcome you to join the Arts Council. We meet on the first Monday of every month!
