Training runs from December 7th to January 3rd online and from January 4th to 28th at the Nekinan Lodge in Smoky Lake, Alberta

𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝟭𝟴 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲:
+ Up-to-date CPR and Standard First Aid certifications
+ A class 5 Alberta Driver's License and ability to commute to Smoky Lake, Alberta for the in-person portion of training
+ Successfully completed Science 20, Math 10, and English 20
+ A high-speed internet connection and reliable computer to complete online training

Eligibility requirements:

+ You must be a registered member of the Otipemisiwak Métis Student Association
+ You must be a current student enrolled in the 2026-2027 academic year

Kits can be picked up in person at our Edmonton or Calgary office or at one of the stops our Mobile Métis Employment Centre (RV) makes.

A scrumptious feast for our bellies, an evening to come together as a community, and the big man in red will be there! Santa will even have a gift for your children that day! To attend the event, you must pre-register yourself and your family.

One turkey or ham voucher will be given per household. Eligible children will receive a gift from Santa at the dinner; you must pre-register.
