Cozy Cabin at Cedar Bay got a new wash and stain by Friends of Cedar Bay’s Lakeshore Committee volunteers this weekend (September 25 and 26).

Led by one of the builders of the cabin, Ron Capar, the group washed, stained and did some upkeep and repair on the 50-year old log cabin.

Final part of the project will be chinking of the logs and staining the porch railings. And then looking good for a Cozy Cabin winter!

The staining/chinking project was made possible by funds from the Smile Cookie Campaign of 2025.

Join us for Family Fun! Fall Frolic on Sunday October 4th from 1-3 PM. Pony Rides, Pumpkins and Hot Chocolate. Cash or etransfers accepted. Cedar Bay Merch available for purchase. Helments are provided for pony rides but you are encouraged to bring a well-fitting bike helmet if possible.

Cedar Bay exists and runs because of your community support! Your smile cookie donations helped purchase the materials needed to build us a new horse shelter. This morning our volunteers braved the rain to help stand it up. Can we get a roof on before it snows?
