On September 26,2026 the Harley Owner’s Group (HOGS) held a fundraiser for the Nishnawbe-Gamik Friendship Centre “Toys for Tots” program. This raises funds for Christmas presents and holiday meals for children and families in need of support.

The Sioux Lookout Shrine Family was honoured to support this cause by donating “Shrine Fries” to the meal, and a cash donation to purchase toys and meals for children and families.

What a tremendous act of kindness.

The Kam River Fighting Walleye were scheduled to play the Sioux Lookout Bombers on September 18.

Unfortunately bus mechanical issues canceled the game.

The Fighting Walleye had already ordered pulled pork meals for the team.

When they couldn’t make it, the Fighting Walleye asked the Sioux Lookout Shrine Family to donate the food to the Sioux Lookout Emergency Shelter

Sioux Lookout Shrine Family held their final BBQ of 2026. Members of the public were invited to come out and meet the Sioux Lookout Bombers team members as they begin their pursuit for the SIJHL Bill Salonen Cup

Because of all your support, Charli made it to SickKids for another year of her healthy post-liver transplant journey. 🥹💚

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported us—those who purchased large pizzas, added an extra donation after their meal, or simply stopped by and gave even without making a purchase.
