The salmon enumeration season has started! 🐟
About every 10 days, from late summer to late fall, we survey up to 17 creeks and count the number of salmon of each species returning to spawn.
During our first rotation, we’ve seen big returns of pink salmon to Hada River, Carriden Creek, and Embley River. Carriden and Embley are especially notable, since these are the largest pink returns we’ve seen in these rivers in over a decade!
