Join us for our "Ride the Title Waves" Finale Party!

🏊‍♂️Our "Library Lakers" have been working hard all summer on their opening performance. We are excited to show a recording of it at the beginning of our Finale party!

📸Staff will be taking many pictures and videos this week to add to our end of summer slideshow.

🏆Six lucky kids will be our Grand Prize Winners! Don't forget to track your reading and enter any missing passwords in Beanstack.

🍕We will be ordering plenty of Pizza to share!

Saturday's presentation at 1 pm will be awesome! Some of the fabulous birds that Canadian Raptor Conservancy uses in their shows include: Bald Eagle, Golden Eagle, Harris Hawk, Barn Owl, Great Horned Owl, Red-tailed Hawk, Peregrine Falcon, American Kestrel and Turkey Vulture. Come check them out at the Rec Centre!

Just a quick note from the CRC office!

We have decided to not run any onsite photography sessions for the months of July/August.
If has been a very hot start to the Summer and with another heat wave on the horizon… it is too hot for the staff, birds and visitors.

We will start up again …..after Labour Day weekend!

Let your curiosity take flight! Help the Muskoka Lakes Public Library welcome the Canadian Raptor Conservancy to our Bala branch on Saturday July 11th from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. for an amazing demonstration! There will be several birds of prey showing us how cool they are, with knowledgeable handlers ready to answer questions and facilitate a meet and greet. No need to register but prompt arrival ensures full enjoyment of the show!

Children aged 9 and under must have a parent or guardian (this can be an older sibling) remain at the library for the duration of the program.
