TODAY (Thursday June 18) is Farmers Market Day at the South Cooking Lake Hall! Please don't let a little rain stop you from coming out on Opening Night. We are inside the community hall today from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. with about 20 vendors, some new and some usual favorites. Lots of delicious baking too, a Girl Guide cookie fundraiser and a couple of young entrepreneurs excited to share their items at the market. Winston's Food Truck is there for dinner and Scoopz Ice Cream Hut for dessert. It's also Cody's 25th birthday! Come by and say hi! We would love to see you! ❤

Two more sleeps until the big day! This Thursday June 18th is our first Summer Farmers Market night at the South Cooking Lake Hall! Winston's Fish and Chips will be our food truck and Scoopz Ice Cream Hut will be there too! We will have more than 20 great vendors, crafts with the Bookmobile, kids' games, lemonade, free facepaintng, and Girl Guide cookies too! It runs from 4:30 to 7:30 pm and we hope to see you there! Please share and help us spread the word!

Would you like to be in the South Cooking Lake Parade during Trail Days on Saturday, Aug 15th? It will be at 11 a.m. and everyone is welcome!

If you would like to bring your animals, cars, tractors, trailers, golf carts etc, , we would love to have you join us! Kids can also decorate their bikes and participate, or dress up and walk in the parade. There are many ways to be a part of our parade! It's also a great way to promote your business or organization - and it's fun too!

There is a Trail Days Planning Meeting on Thursday May 28th at 7 p.m. on the seniors side of the hall and we really need some extra help this year. Please come to the meeting or send us a message through FB or at [email protected] if you are able to help. There are many ways to get involved and they do not require a large time commitment. Thank you very much ❤

Have you heard about the two upcoming activities for Seniors coming up next week, with bus transportation provided?
We'd love to fill those busses and show there is a need for this kind of busing from rural communities like ours to all kinds of events
