Big news for our community! 🎉

On behalf of the Strathcona Community Hospital Foundation, we thank the Government of Alberta for recognizing the growing health care needs of Strathcona County and taking an important step toward planning the expansion of Strathcona Community Hospital.

As one of the fastest-growing areas in the region, healthcare close to home matters now…more than ever. This welcome investment helps lay the groundwork for expanding Hospital services, including inpatient beds and expanded surgical capacity.

Our Foundation is proud to support care beyond what standard funding provides and we’re very excited to be part of bringing this enhanced care closer to our community. Strong health services are not built alone, but through cooperation with government, community leaders, care providers, and the people who rely on these services every day.
