Put conservation on your plate! 🐏

Starting today, Albertans can show their support for conservation with the new Alberta conservation licence plate.

Featuring three iconic bighorn sheep against Mount Lougheed, the plate celebrates our province’s wildlife and wild spaces. Proceeds from every plate sold will support ACA's work in habitat restoration, wildlife and fisheries research, and sustainable outdoor recreation.

The plate costs $75, plus a $15 registry agent fee and standard vehicle registration fees.

🎥 Meet PC449—also known as Chinsleigh
Chinsleigh is one of six lucky pronghorn fitted with a video collar, giving us a unique look at life from a pronghorn’s perspective.
Captured south of Cavendish, AB, in December 2025, Chinsleigh quickly demonstrated how extensively pronghorn can move across the landscape. From December 18 to 22, she travelled roughly 80 km south to an area north of Redcliff, AB. She later returned toward her capture area and, in February, completed a roughly 30-kilometre loop around White Horse Lake.
Our team is diligently reviewing Chinsleigh’s footage, and we’ll be sharing it on ACA’s website very soon. Stay tuned for a pronghorn-eye view of Alberta’s grasslands!
