Mark Hicks and his amazing team at Sherwood Ford have been on our side since 2021 when our new van first arrived! Last week they stepped forward to provide a maintenance package for our SHP delivery van. This van is our lifeline, picking up and delivering build supplies for bed builds. This van has also helped deliver at least 1700 beds to kids in need in Starthcona County and Edmonton! The folks at Sherwood Ford keep us running and are huge part of our story. Together we work towards providing beds for kids on the floor.

A huge thank you to Christian Labour Association of Canada for their ongoing support and for providing space for our indoor builds.

Thanks to this partnership, 20 more kids will have a safe and comfortable bed to call their own.

HERE is a small peek at our recent delivery 💛

These two beds were provided to a family who arrived in Canada just three months ago. As they begin building their new life, something as simple as a bed can bring comfort, stability, and a sense of home.

We are grateful to continue supporting newcomers as they settle into the Edmonton community. Every delivery is a reminder of how meaningful it is to come together and make a difference, one family at a time.

This was a good day for math in the shop at Strathcona Christian Academy!! We had 40 volunteers build 42 beds! Today's builders represented St. Vincent de Paul, Knights of Columbus, Edmonton Catholics Schools and Arch Bishop Jordan in Sherwood Park and SCA teachers and students. Thanks to TELUS Friendly Future Foundation 42 kids will receive beds in the near future. It's amazing what like minded community members can do together!

Telus Friendly Future Foundation has come through again! Their generous grant will help us build over 100 beds for kids in Strathcona County and the Edmonton area. We build and deliver beds to kids ages 3-17 who don't have beds of their own. We rely on donors to fund every single bed. Many thanks to TELUS Friendly Future Foundationfor their continued support. We'll get to building these beds right away! NO KID SLEEPS ON THE FLOOR IN OUR TOWN!

Our chapter was privileged to participate in the Skill Canada, Alberta Try-A-Trade youth event today at the Dow Centennial Center in Fort Saskatchewan. Thanks to Graham Construction for inviting us to join in the event with them. The event provides youth with exposure to various trades and the opportunity to get firsthand experience. Many youth had an opportunity to try the tools and build headboards. What a great day!
