Denim & Diamonds: Knit City Calgary Kickoff Mix & Mingle

Slip into your favourite jeans and let your “diamond” be your most dazzling handmade item because we’re kicking off Knit City Calgary in full Rebel style.

Join us on September 25 from 5–9 PM 5 Community Brewery for an evening of sparkle, stitches, and community magic.

Expect good drinks, good company, and a room full of people who understand the joy of showing off a handmade item you poured your heart into.

No matter what your “diamond” is, be it, knit, crochete, or sewn, we want to see it shine.
Brioche, granny squares, Tunisian texture, or a chaotic‑good scrappy masterpiece, dust it off and wear it proudly.

This is your chance to unwind before the Knit City weekend begins, meet fellow makers, reconnect with friends, and soak in that unmistakable Rebel energy.

Limited seats — grab your ticket early. Each ticket includes one drink to kick off the night.

I’ve met so many Rebels who are introverted, soft‑spoken, or quiet as a mouse… right up until someone mentions their favourite craft or that half‑finished project haunting their project bag. Then suddenly it’s a full TED Talk. If that’s you, you’re in good company. Follow The Yarn Rebels and come hang out with people who speak your language, even if we whisper until the wool comes out.
