Tierra del Fuego We are a grassroots experimental learning project. A volunteer-driven, non-funded, initiative of students and local members of the community.

We have already created:

A place to access basic resources: internet, food, books, sports equipment and arts & crafts materials. A place where anyone can feel comfortable being themselves. An environment to discover, explore, and create alternative solutions to current modes of monetary exchange. This is achieved through trade and considering reciprocity to be fundamental. A place to network with

artists, scientists, dancers, musicians, entrepreneurs, gardeners, yogies, linguists...

An experiential learning ground (i.e. the Cultural kitchen, workshops)

A safe space to explore non-hierarchical relationships. The Poutine Press: an independent zine made up of critical analysis, poetry, prose, short fiction, creative non-fiction, comics, and visual art. A venue to host social events of your choosing (i.e. discussion groups, guest speakers, baby showers, birthdays)
