We're thrilled to announce the winner of this year's SMRA Postcard Photo Contest! Congratulations to Mark Brennan for their winning image, "A still morning in the old growth flood plain of the St Mary's River" chosen by community vote to be our next official postcard! This contest was truly a celebration of the river. We received 17 beautiful submissions, narrowed them down to 8 incredible finalists, and saw amazing support from the public.

We’ve narrowed down our Postcard contestant’s submissions, not without difficulty, to 8 photos that capture the spirit of our beautiful river!! 🌊

Now it’s up to you all to decide which shot you think should win and be sold as a postcard in the St. Mary’s River Interpretive Centre! 📸

The voting period starts now and will close at 12pm on Friday, August 21st so be sure to vote before then! ⏱️

Votes will be donation based and the winner will be determined by number of votes!

Don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten about the highly anticipated Postcard Contest! 📸

The contest was merely pushed back due to a delay in getting the necessary permit and should be commencing August 17th!!

River Days are fast approaching!! ⏱️

Join us on Saturday, August 8th at the Brigley House in Sherbrooke Village for a fun-filled day celebrating our river and community! 🌊 🐟

Activities for all ages, a free BBQ, information booths, music, water-themed games, and more!!

Be sure to register your Cardboard Boat for the race across the St. Mary’s River at the Boat Club Warf between 1:30 and 2:15 p.m.!! There are over $1000 worth of prizes to win, don’t miss out! 🏆

Today the St. Mary’s River Association Interpretive Centre team spent time with the Sherbrooke Summer Day Camp making fish scenery and fly rods!! 🐟 🎣

Not exactly the nature walk we had planned for the day, but rain or shine, we make it work! 🌧️
