SFR would like to express sincere gratitude to everyone who helped us out during the Lobstick Fire. You people really stepped up for your community.

Kinettes-you ladies are amazing. You jumped into action the moment the evacuation notice went out and opened up your building to evacuees. Some of you even helped register those who weren’t tech savvy. Then there was the food prep and organization to make sure people were fed. That was huge!

Thanks to Parkland Meats, Bigway and Amanda Pizza and also those of you who kept the baking and other donations rolling in-big thanks. So tasty.
Thank you to Keith Oreel and his friend for delivering pizza that first night and the food delivery for days after.

Triple S- thanks for all the water hauling and help.

Thanks to SPSA, RM of Shellbrook and all of the agencies under their umbrella for your respective roles.

And thank you to the people who had to leave their homes for a bit for trusting the process and being patient. We get that it was stressful and scary.

We live in a great community that has shown that they can pull together when need arises. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts

The response to our request for baking for the firefighters battling the Lobstick Fire has been overwhelming. Thanks to your generosity, we have received plenty of baking and do not need any more donations at this time. If that changes, we will reach out again.

We would also like to recognize and thank those who have provided monetary and in-kind donations:

The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency (SPSA) is currently reaching out to evacuees by phone. We are aware that some of these calls are being mistaken for scam calls.

Please be advised that these calls are legitimate and are being made to support you and your household during this time.

If you have any questions, concerns, or need assistance, you can also contact SPSA directly at:

We encourage all evacuees to ensure they are registered through the Saskatchewan Evacuation Registration (SER) system and to stay in contact so supports can be provided as needed.

The Kinettes are looking for donations of individually wrapped baking and treats for the firefighters battling the Lobstick Fire.

Donations can be dropped off at the Community Hall or arranged through any Kinettes member.

Cookies, squares, muffins, and other baked goodies are all appreciated and will help support the crews working hard to protect our communities.

🚨 Emergency Evacuation Information 🚨

The Kinette Club of Shellbrook would like to remind any residents affected by the Lobstick Fire who have been directed to evacuate that the Shellbrook Community Hall is open as an evacuation reception centre.

Please continue to monitor official emergency alerts and updates, and share this information to help reach those who may need it.

Our thoughts are with everyone affected, and we thank the many volunteers, first responders, and organizations working to keep our communities safe. ❤️

A huge thank you to all the parents, daycare providers, and little ones who joined us for another wonderful Day on the Farm! 🚜

From visiting the animals to exploring the farmyard and enjoying time together outdoors, it was a fantastic day filled with smiles and memories. ☀️🐓

A special thank you to Tasjia and Dakota Moore for once again welcoming Shellbrook Mamas to their farm. We are so grateful for your hospitality and for helping make this annual event such a special experience for local families! 🥚
