Parkland Minor Ball League is underway. It's a busy week. The Shell Lake U15s play their first game this evening vs. Debden.

You can catch the U13s vs. Shellbrook 2 and U9s vs. Shellbrook 2 tomorrow.

Thursday, May 14 the U13s take on Shellbrook 1 while the U9s will meet up with Big River.
***All games start at 6:30.

Shell Lake Minor Sports and Memorial Lake Regional Park are excited to be the host site for the 2026 U13 Boys Provincial Softball Championships. It's going to be a great event. Shell Lake is hosting an umpire clinic on Sunday, April 12. Register online through RAMP. There are online modules to complete prior to attending the in-person clinic.

All umpires must complete the new two-step certification process this year:

1️⃣ Register through RAMP (2026/2027 rulebook included in your registration fee)
2️⃣ Complete all 9 online theory modules
3️⃣ Attend one mandatory Face-to-Face clinic

⚠️ Both the online modules and the in-person clinic are required for all levels of umpires.

Spiritwood High School had a a golden day at Battle West's High School Jr. Curling Districts yesterday in Unity, and Shell Lake was well represented on the teams.
Congratulations to Jase Simonar, Coleby Rose, Maddox Simonar, Nixen Simonar, and Sierra Strate! Great job teams!
