2026 summer camp pricing☀️🌱

Sun School recognizes that summer camp can be expensive and that many camps have registration periods that line up right around the holiday season. To stay competitive but still feasible for families Sun School is offering early bird pricing in addition to the sibling discount. Early bird pricing begins November 15th 2025 and runs to March 31st 2026. Stay tuned for news about our Christmas camp and March Break camp.

Happy Bruce Trail Day! We got out for a hike in Mono Cliffs Provincial Park. It was such a beautiful day and seeing the changing colours of the trees from the lookout points was fantastic. Along our adventure we saw a common American toad, a Garter snake, and a Northern Redbelly snake.

In addition to being the educator behind Sun School, I am also a member of the Peterborough Field Naturalists and help facilitate the Juniors program. This month’s meeting was all about moose and the stressors they face. 🫎

Hello friends! I’ve been away on a honeymoon/anniversary trip and arrived back today so I will be catching up on emails and posting about in-school workshops and PA day camps.

I was fortunate to visit 14 different parks while on my trip and I got to hike lots of different trails. I am always looking for some critters to say hi to and I found two frogs at two different parks. The first was at Oxtongue River-Ragged Falls Provincial Park and the second at Fitzroy Provincial Park.

Sun School is excited to announce that it will be offering PA day camps this school year!

I have expanded the Sun School calendar to include PA days from KPRDSB, PVNCCDSB, as well as Rhema Christian School.

Summer camp was a blast, I can’t wait to continue the fun throughout the school year with the PA day camps.

I JUST finished putting away all the summer camp materials but I couldn’t take a break *just* yet, I was too excited to get the PA day and holiday camp registration up and running. ✨

A big shout out to everyone who made the 2025 season of summer camp possible!

Thank you Westdale United Church for hosting the camp, it was the perfect location. Thank you to the families who registered some pretty awesome kiddos, I had such a wonderful time getting to know the campers and I hope to see them throughout the school year and next summer. Thank you to my husband who showed up to help me pack and clean up each week and coax me to bed after I fell asleep early each night. 😆 And thank you to my dad for believing that this could be a reality.
