Giving back to the community is always important!

Yesterday 12 team mates were able to lend a hand at the Annual Christmas Box program sponsored by the Peter McKee Community Food Centre!

Our task was to put together scores of boxes and lined them up carefully for filling. When that task was completed, when many teams left, we carried on and filled 80 boxes with the non parishable items that the community provided. Those will be delivered today along with a box of parishables. It was very rewarding!

‘tit Bateau you always rise to the occasion! Thank you for showing up and getting it done! We played a role in insuring more than 1500 people have food for the holidays!

Our Breast Cancer Dragon Boat team gathered for one of our biggest fundraisers of the year to make apple crisp!

In the end, 650 apple crisps were produced and sold! We could not do this without the support of all of these companies!

We want to thanks them for their continued support!

Many thanks to the Tantramar Regional High School’s football team and student council for their generous donation of $600!

It was so great that they thought of us first when they were deciding on who would receive these donated dollars. Tantramar is very well known for their passion for dragonboating. We are so proud of them and so thankfull!!!
