-a hat and/or cheap sunglasses

Shediac Bay Yacht Club is seeking Instructors for the 2022 summer season!

We are asking all interested parties to apply - new and returning coaches - for the following positions: Head Instructor, instructors for Wet Feet, CANSail 1&2, CANSail 3&4 and CANSail 5&6. Please specify in your application what positions you are applying for.
Candidates must be enthusiastic, fun, resourceful and hard working, and have an ability to motivate students. Sail Canada and other certifications (First Aid, PCOC, ROC(M), etc.) are required. More information will be made available in coming weeks about training courses.
Competitive salaries will be commensurate with experience and certification. Employment dates for instructors is mid/late June to late August. Please send resume and cover letter to Jennifer Deware at [email protected].

Exciting times! Sailing School staff have started work to be ready for all our sailors this summer at the Shediac Bay Yacht Club Sailing School!!

A reminder for all who are registered of what you need to bring to sailing school:
- lifejacket
- sunscreen
- hat
- water bottle
- lunch & snacks for the day
- bathing suit or clothes that can get wet
- a change of clothes

- water shoes/booties or shoes that can get wet
- towel
- inexpensive sunglasses (if you want)

Hi all! A note on registrations this year - the Wet Feet Program has been merged with the CanSail 1 & 2 levels so Level 1&2 would be the block you would register for. Thanks!

Hi everyone! We have received many inquiries about sailing school registration. Thank you for your patience. We hope to have the registration open in the next couple weeks. We will post and let everyone know as soon as its ready. We are very excited for the season and are happy you are as eager as we are!
