Sean Nicol Legacy Fund The Sean Nicol Legacy Fund is a perpetual endowment fund held and professionally managed by the Selkirk and District Community Foundation.

Dollars raised and donations collected in its name are held permanently with the income earned granted to local charities working to promote social justice. The fund was established by the friends and family of Sean Nicol. Sean unexpectedly passed away on January 29, 2007 from natural causes at the age of 25. Sean enjoyed his work at Association for Community Living. He was a passionate advocate f

or people living with developmental disabilities and mental illness. He believed that everyone deserves to be able to fully participate in their community and to have their fundamental needs met. Outgoing, big hearted and loyal, Sean has been deeply missed. The fund has been created to honour the memory and work of our friend, brother and son. Every penny donated to the Sean Nicol Legacy Fund is an investment in to those programs and organizations that are bringing hope and opportunity to the people in our community who need it the most.
