Congratulations Selkirk Toastmasters Club for all of your hard work. We have reached 20 members and are almost President's Distinguished. That means we have been conducting speeches, training our club officers and submitting administrative items to world hq in time. It takes a village!!

Selkirk Toastmasters Club celebrated Bob Herbert's 12 year commitment to the club this week. In June we will also be celebrating 44 years as a club in the community!! We meet weekly at 202 McLean Ave, Wednesdays at 7pm. Come check us out!!

Selkirk Toastmasters Club is very proud of our two members, Cindy McKay and Lyle Appleyard for competing in the Division E speech contest. Cindy placed 3rd in Tall Tales and Lyle will be representing the Division at the District International Speech Contest.

The Club is very excited to meet weekly at 202 McLean Ave for full hybrid meetings starting Wed Mar 1st. The last 2 weeks we have been online only due to a booking in the church one week and the Area 52 Speech Contest last week.

We want to congratulate Lyle Appleyard for winning the Area's International Speech Contest and Cindy McKay for winning the Area's Tall Tales Contest. You both had a great speech contest and we look forward to congratulating you both in person.

Feb 15th and 22nd will be online only. Our in person facility is running a clinic on the 15th and the 22nd is the Online Area Speech Contest. We will be back to full hybrid meetings on Wed March 1st.

Back to regular meetings for the next few weeks. We will be hosting the Area International and Tall Tales Contest, which will be 100% online. There are 3 speakers in each of the two contests and it should be a fun night. Selkirk's Club Winners, Lyle Appleyard and Cindy McKay will compete with the winners from 2 other clubs.
