🚐🌎 Looking for an Adventure of a Lifetime (Paid Role)

INTERVIEWING NOW!

*EDIT*: While this post highlights one primary RV Manager role, we’re very open to bringing in multiple people to cover different sections of the trip. If committing to the full 6.5–8 months isn’t realistic, but a 4–8 week stretch is — still reach out!

Hey Sunshine Coast friends!!
(and everyone else who comes across this post),

I’m putting out the call for one key person to join an absolutely wild project this summer.

Starting mid-June, I’ll be attempting to run from the Arctic to Baja, Mexico — following the primary Google Maps route all the way to Cabo San Lucas — to help raise $1 million for arthritis research.

This is a 6.5–8 month journey (depending on weather, setbacks, and real life), and we’ll be driving and running through some of the most remote and beautiful places on the continent:

Northwest Territories → Yukon → British Columbia → Washington → Oregon → California → Baja California, Mexico

Think:
• Arctic highways and endless tundra
• Yukon wilderness and mountain passes
• BC coastlines and forests
• Pacific Northwest rainforests
• California deserts and coastline
• And finally, the Baja Peninsula all the way to Cabo San Lucas

🚐 Driver / RV Manager (Paid)
• $3,000/month
• All expenses covered (travel, food, accommodation)
• Drive the RV day to day
• Help navigate routes, fuel stops, and camp spots
• Take turns cooking meals and keeping the RV running smoothly
• Be part of a small, tight-knit team living and traveling together

You don’t need to be a mechanic or professional driver — just reliable, adaptable, calm under pressure, and good with long days on the road. A sense of humour and love of adventure goes a long way.

This isn’t a vacation — but it is the kind of experience you’ll talk about for the rest of your life.

If you want to learn more about the project, you can check out makearthritisfamous.com.

If this sounds like you (or someone you know), comment below, send me a message or email me at [email protected] and I’m happy to share more details.

Let’s do something meaningful and a little unhinged — for a good cause.

Tough few days and just some of the less glamorous side of things while I work my way up to the Arctic to Baja run.

Trying to lean in a bit more to sharing the less happy go lucky stuff

And so begins the great battle of the 2026 burnout 🔥🧯

The irony that I had just given myself credit just this morning for not burning out. What a foolish naive man I was back then 😂🤪

Pretty special thing that I wanted to share this morning for everyone who has been following this do**us along the way to running the Arctic to the Baja for arthritis awareness and to try and raise $1 million for arthritis research 🤙🏃‍♂️

The amount of people who have helped throughout the last year and continue to help along the way right now is pretty incredible. So special shoutout to all of them 🙏🙌

I’ve been getting a lot of messages with questions, so here’s a little rundown of how I personally navigate AS 😅

This is just my experience, not a one-size-fits-all.
Hope it clears a few things up — feel free to ask anything or dm me!

Happy new years everyone!!! 🥳🎉🍻

Sorry for the silent treatment, I’ve just had some personal private stuff I’ve been going through. But the turbulence has ended and I am back in business.

Time to gear up for this crazy run and get everything sorted to make it possible.

Hope everyone had an incredible holiday and lettuce all try and make 2026 a real good time 🤙🙌

Little discovery: Zone Hydration absolutely slaps.

Light, easy on the gut, tastes good, and the perfect start before training. Not sponsored — just sharing something that actually works for my morning routine with my sensitive little tummy.

Big news — I’m currently in talks with the Sechelt Hospital Foundation for my first official presentation about this mission: running from the Arctic to the Baja next summer to raise massive awareness for arthritis and arthritic conditions. 🏃‍♂️🔥

The goal? Build momentum, recruit team members, attract donors, and rally as much support as possible to make this journey a reality.

I’ve got until mid-June next summer to plan, prep, and pull it all together… then it’s go time one way or another.

It’s wild — but the Vancouver Island run gave us the lessons (and confidence) we needed to take this next leap. Let’s see how this unfolds. 💪🌎

Fun update 🚀

Recovery’s been a weird balancing act — doing too much flares me up, but doing nothing makes my arthritis kick in like it’s training for a comeback 😅

My calf tendon’s still cranky, my hamstring’s tight, but slowly things are improving. Just need to stay patient, stay smart, and get back on track…

Because the next chapter? 7,500 KM of pure grit, madness, and hopefully way more awareness. 🏃‍♂️💥
