🚐🌎 Looking for an Adventure of a Lifetime (Paid Role)
INTERVIEWING NOW!
*EDIT*: While this post highlights one primary RV Manager role, we’re very open to bringing in multiple people to cover different sections of the trip. If committing to the full 6.5–8 months isn’t realistic, but a 4–8 week stretch is — still reach out!
Hey Sunshine Coast friends!!
(and everyone else who comes across this post),
I’m putting out the call for one key person to join an absolutely wild project this summer.
Starting mid-June, I’ll be attempting to run from the Arctic to Baja, Mexico — following the primary Google Maps route all the way to Cabo San Lucas — to help raise $1 million for arthritis research.
This is a 6.5–8 month journey (depending on weather, setbacks, and real life), and we’ll be driving and running through some of the most remote and beautiful places on the continent:
Northwest Territories → Yukon → British Columbia → Washington → Oregon → California → Baja California, Mexico
Think:
• Arctic highways and endless tundra
• Yukon wilderness and mountain passes
• BC coastlines and forests
• Pacific Northwest rainforests
• California deserts and coastline
• And finally, the Baja Peninsula all the way to Cabo San Lucas
🚐 Driver / RV Manager (Paid)
• $3,000/month
• All expenses covered (travel, food, accommodation)
• Drive the RV day to day
• Help navigate routes, fuel stops, and camp spots
• Take turns cooking meals and keeping the RV running smoothly
• Be part of a small, tight-knit team living and traveling together
You don’t need to be a mechanic or professional driver — just reliable, adaptable, calm under pressure, and good with long days on the road. A sense of humour and love of adventure goes a long way.
This isn’t a vacation — but it is the kind of experience you’ll talk about for the rest of your life.
If you want to learn more about the project, you can check out makearthritisfamous.com.
If this sounds like you (or someone you know), comment below, send me a message or email me at [email protected] and I’m happy to share more details.
Let’s do something meaningful and a little unhinged — for a good cause.
