Santa Claus Parade Schedule 2025
The Christmas Parade season is our busiest one and it’s where we have a good chance to make a lot of money. This year we will do eight parades. In order to look and sound our best it is imperative that all members make their best effort to attend our performances. All of the money that we earn from our parades will go towards the cost of participating members’ March Break trip.
Saturday, November 15th: Bayfield Santa Claus Parade
Meet in front of the Virtual High School at 10:30 a.m.
Parade begins at 11:00
Pick up behind the arena (John Street)
Saturday, November 22nd: Goderich Santa Claus Parade
Meet on Elgin Ave / Wellington St at 6:40
Parade begins at 7:15
Our position number will be posted on facebook on Nov19
Pick up at Giant Tiger (South Street)
Friday, November 28th: Seaforth Santa Claus Parade
Meet at the school by 6:30. We will march down to the arena together.
Parade begins at 7:00.
Pick up at the Bethel Church parking lot (just before the railroad tracks on Main St).
There will be free hot chocolate and activities at the Bethel Church following the parade.
Saturday November 29th: Wingham Santa Claus Parade
Meet in the North Huron Wescast Community Centre Parking Lot at 10:30
Parade begins at 11:00
Pick up at the Wingham Firehall (North End of Main St.)
Saturday December 6th: Brussels Santa Claus Parade
Meet at George St.Industrial Park (by CarQuest) at 4:30
Pick up at the arena
Parade begins at 5:00 pm
Saturday December 6th: Palmerston Santa Claus Parade
Meet at the corner of King and Albert St at 6:30
Parade begins at 7:00
Pick up corner of Main St E and York St
Saturday December 13th: Blyth Santa Claus Parade
Meet at 10:30 on Gypsy Lane near the arena -we’ll be at the front of the parking lot
Parade begins at 11:00
Pick up at the arena.
Saturday December 13th: Ilderton Santa Claus Parade
Meet at 4:30 on Robert St near the Post Office (lineup number will be posted closer to the date)
Parade begins at 5:00
Pick up behind the arena near the barns
There will be free hot chocolate, snacks and pictures with Santa at the fairgrounds afterwards.

♬ you are unable to attend any parades
It is very important that all girls are in full uniform.
We will supply every girl with... ♬ a green sweatshirt
♬ a Santa hat
♬ a scarf
Band members are responsible for...
♬ plain black pants (or snow pants)
♬ plain black boots
♬ if they wish to wear gloves they should be black
♬ a white turtleneck (amazon has decent priced ones)
♬ it is highly recommended that girls wear many layers under their sweatshirts
♬ long johns or tights and an extra pair of socks are also a good idea
♬ their instruments and music
♬ decorating their instrument with lights or tinsel (optional)
PARTY TIME!!
To celebrate the wrap up of our Christmas Parade season we will have a party on Wednesday, December 17th at 7:00 at the school. You are welcome to bring a small peanut free treat to share with the others. We will provide juice, napkins and plates. Parents and caregivers are welcome to attend. We will not rehearse and will play some games in the gym to celebrate a job well done!
If, by chance, the SPS Winter Concert (planned for Tuesday, December 16th) is postponed due to weather we will NOT meet on December 17th and will have our party in the New Year.
Please remember to return your Santa hat and scarf at the party.
This will be the last time we meet in 2025. We will not have rehearsals on December 24th or December 31st. Band practice will resume on January 7th, 2026.
