As violence and displacement continue to impact families in Lebanon, deadly Israeli airstrikes in the south have killed more than 1,000 people (Al Jazeera), while nearly 1 million people have been displaced, many now living on the streets or in overcrowded shelters (Islamic Relief Canada).

Islamic Relief UTSC invites you to Crafting Connection: A Sisters’ Gathering of Reflection and Creativity ✨

Join us on Thursday, March 12th from 4–7 PM for an evening of reflection, creativity, and sisterhood during the last ten days of Ramadan. Together, we’ll reflect on themes from the Qur’an and think about how we can nurture meaningful change in our communities.

Come customize a tote pouch, journal, make your own tasbeeh, and take time to de-stress in good company. Iftar will be provided, and all proceeds from the event will go towards our Orphan Sponsorship Program! 🫂
