Happy Thanksgiving from the Army Cadet League of Canada (Ontario)! 🍁 🦃

Thanksgiving is an opportunity to pause and reflect on the things that matter most: the people in our lives, the opportunities we have, and the experiences that bring us together.

We are especially grateful for the dedicated volunteers, community partners, families, and supporters who help make a positive difference in the lives of Army Cadets across Ontario.

On behalf of everyone at the Army Cadet League of Canada (Ontario), we wish you and your loved ones a safe, happy, and restful Thanksgiving weekend!

🇨🇦 A Proud History of Supporting Army Cadets

On 1 April 1971, the Army Cadet League of Canada was formed as a civilian, not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting the Royal Canadian Army Cadets.

For more than 55 years, the League has worked in partnership with the Canadian Armed Forces, local communities, sponsors and volunteers to help strengthen the Army Cadet Program across Canada.

From supporting local cadet corps and securing community resources to fundraising, volunteer involvement and promoting opportunities for young Canadians, generations of League members have played an important role behind the scenes.

Today, that partnership continues from the national and provincial levels right down to local Corps Support Committees — all working toward the same goal: providing Canadian youth with opportunities to develop citizenship, leadership, confidence and skills for life.

As we look back on our history, we also recognize the thousands of volunteers who have contributed their time, experience and commitment to supporting Army Cadets across Canada.
