The Lord calls us to place our energy and our hearts in His service, becoming faithful labourers in His vineyard. Let us pray for the courage and strength to always put God first in our lives and to offer Him the fruits of all that we do, remembering that He is the rightful owner of the Heavenly Vineyard.

Today, we are encouraged to look within ourselves and acknowledge the sins and mistakes of our past that may still weigh us down. The Lord reminds us that there is no sin so great that He cannot forgive. He calls us to turn back to Him, to trust in His mercy, and to follow Him.

Today, we stand with Jesus, the source of eternal love and eternal life. In Him, we find forgiveness, hope, and the strength to begin anew.

Today, the Lord reminds us that it is never too late to turn to Him. No matter how far we have wandered or what burdens we carry from the past, God’s love never changes. He is compassionate, merciful, and patient, always waiting for us and never giving up on us.

Let us rejoice whenever someone turns back to God, enters His vineyard, and receives the fullness of His grace and love. May we remember that, in God’s mercy, it is never too late to begin again.

With a focus on minors on the move, Pope Leo XIV has chosen “Even Just One of These Children” as the theme for the 112th World Day of Migrants and Refugees. The title is drawn from Matthew 18:5: “Whoever welcomes one such child in My name welcomes Me”.

This occasion will be commemorated with a special Mass on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Isaac Jogues Parish, 1148 Finch Avenue, Pickering, Ontario. Bishop Vincent Nguyen will serve as both celebrant and homilist.

Today, the Lord calls us to let go of the anger and grudges that imprison and consume us. He invites us to share in God’s joy by forgiving generously—even when we feel justified in our anger.

We pray for the grace to truly mean the words we say in the prayer our Lord taught us: “Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.”

The Office of Vocations will be hosting a Come & See Weekend Discernment Retreat for men 18 years and older, at St. Augustine’s Seminary on Friday, November 6 (6:30 p.m.) until Sunday, November 8 (2 p.m.). This Retreat offers a way for men to discern a possible call to priesthood at St. Augustine's Seminary.
