🎒📚 Back to School with a Purpose 💙

As our children prepare for another school year, Lend A Helping Hand Ministry (Westmoreland Good Shepherd Care Hub) was blessed to give back through our Back-to-School Drive, held in loving memory of our beloved Edward Gardner.

Edward had a heart for serving, uplifting and helping others, and it is an honour to continue that legacy by investing in the next generation. Each backpack and school supply represents more than a gift—it represents encouragement, support, and a reminder to our children that their community believes in them.

Though Edward is deeply missed, the love and generosity he shared continue to live on through every life touched in his memory. ❤️

This scholarship was established in loving memory of our dear Vice President, Edward Gardner, whose commitment to helping others and serving his community continues to inspire the work of our ministry.

We are honoured to keep his legacy alive by supporting deserving young people as they pursue their education and strive toward a brighter future.

Lend A Helping Hand Ministry is truly grateful and honoured to present our 2026 Edward Gardner Scholarship Award, established in loving memory of our dear Vice President, Edward Gardner. ❤️

Our first scholarship was proudly awarded to Lamar Gidden of Hope Valley Experimental School.

Bro. Edward had a heart for helping others and making a difference in the lives of those around him, and it is a privilege for us to continue his legacy by investing in the lives and futures of young people.
