📢 ONTARIO HOLDS THE LINE ON 2027 SNOWMOBILE TRAIL PERMIT FEES 📢 Partnership between OFSC and the Government of Ontario will help support the sustainability of Ontario’s snowmobile trail network

(Barrie, ON. September 30, 2026): Snowmobilers will see no increase in Ontario Snowmobile Trail Permit fees for the 2027 season, as the Government of Ontario and the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) work together to balance affordability for riders with the long-term sustainability of the province’s organized snowmobile trail network. The commitment reflects a shared recognition that Ontario’s snowmobile trail system delivers value far beyond the ride itself.

Our safety shelter at the D trail and ssm5 intersection aka “the Shawn shack” Is in need of some fire wood for this upcoming season. We are seeking some volunteers who would be able to donate and deliver it to the shack you can drive a truck to it from the ranger lake road. Pic for reference.

Throw back Thursday to when our friends at Northshore Sports & Auto stepped up and donated $11000 to pay for our windshield on the Husky.

As mentioned in an earlier post, one of our groomers was vandalized, resulting in the need to replace an expensive front windshield. This unexpected repair came at a challenging time as our Club works to wrap up a long season.

Seeing our unfortunate situation, Northshore Sports & Auto stepped up in a big way and covered the full cost of the replacement—over $11,000. We are incredibly grateful to Ryan and Jordan for their generosity and support of our Club in taking care of this unplanned expense.

Thank you again from the Sault Trailblazers!!
