Last week, two of our founding members, Alan Sinclair and Nick Hill, had the privilege of presenting during the Great Lakes Flood and Wildfire Response Symposium in Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario. They discussed why the was created and what we have accomplished so far. During the conference our partnership with the Indigenous Police Chiefs of Ontario, , was announced. We will be working together to enhance community safety and wildfire preparedness in First Nations across Ontario.

In July of this year, International Wildfire Alliance President, Alan Sinclair was invited by the World Bank and the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry to be a discussant and represent the International Wildfire Alliance at the Enhancing International Cooperation for Integrated Forest Fire Management Conference in Ankara, Türkiye.

The IWA was honored to provide instructors for the 2025 SNEP Forest Camp in Golabki, Poland. Working with other international instructors we helped provide training to 160 participants from 25 countries and 4 continents.
