Yesterday, we hosted our enditnow® Emphasis Day Community Education Event, an important afternoon focused on awareness, education, prevention, and support surrounding abuse and family/partner violence.

We’re grateful to have welcomed a counsellor from Women In Crisis (Algoma) Inc. and a community officer from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service to share their knowledge and experience with us.

Together, we learned more about the cycle of abuse, power and control, risk factors, reporting processes, available community resources, and how we can better recognize when someone may need help.

These conversations aren’t always easy, but they matter. Whether we are supporting a family member, friend, neighbour, church member, or seeking help ourselves, knowing what to look for and where to turn can make a real difference.

Thank you to our presenters and everyone who joined us for this important conversation. 💙

As a church, we want to be a community that listens, learns, supports, and helps connect people with qualified professional and community services.

Cornerstone Seventh-day Adventist Church invites our Sault Ste. Marie community to join us for an important afternoon focused on education, awareness, prevention, and support.

💙 “Our kids had an amazing experience!”

We were so blessed to receive these kind words from Enicka following our Vacation Bible School. Hearing that the children felt welcomed, made new friends, created wonderful memories, and most importantly, learned more about Jesus means so much to us.

Thank you to every teacher, leader, kitchen team member, and volunteer who gave their time, energy, and love to make this year’s Vacation Bible School so special. Your service made a lasting difference! 🙏🏻💙
