Some of our team members' independent collaborative work continues to create impact beyond NORDIK-led initiatives.
We are pleased to share a recent publication by, Quazi Nazmus Sakib, one of our team members. The study evaluated the economic benefits of switching from an opportunistic cancer screening approach to an organized community-based screening program for oral, breast, and cervical cancers in Bangladesh. The findings suggest that an organized community-based screening program is economically favorable for a low-income country like Bangladesh, and provide important policy-relevant evidence for cancer control planning in other resource-constrained settings.
Congratulations to all the authors on this valuable contribution to global health and cancer prevention research.
