We are saddened by the passing of Helen Ross, a remarkable member of the ARCH family and a pioneer of hospice care in our community.

As a dedicated volunteer, fundraiser, advocate, and ARCH’s first Executive Director, Helen played an instrumental role in bringing residential hospice care to Algoma. Her vision, compassion, and determination helped build the foundation of the care and comfort ARCH provides to individuals and families today.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Helen’s family, friends, and all who had the privilege of working alongside her. 💙

A Sweet Tradition Continued: Gilbertson’s Maple Syrup Donates to ARCH🍁✨

A huge thank you to for their wonderful donation of fresh maple syrup to ARCH Hospice!

Few things bring the comfort of home quite like the taste of maple syrup. This sweet gift brings extra warmth and smiles to our residents and visiting families.

Small acts of kindness from local businesses like Gilbertson's are what keep care in Algoma going strong. 💙

🐶🐾 Puppy Therapy at ARCH! 🐾🐶

Our hearts are always so full after a wonderful puppy therapy day, courtesy of our friends at Kent Family Farms !

Over the summer they brought the sweetest, most well-behaved Bernedoodles to visit our Hospice Home. Their playful energy and soft snuggles brought so many smiles to our residents, families, and staff, making life feel just a little bit lighter for everyone.

We think one may even still be available for adoption!

Thank you, Kent Family Farms, for sharing your wonderful pups with us and bringing so much joy into our halls! 💖✨

We wrapped up our Thanksgiving Luncheon today, and our hearts and bellies are so full! 🥧 🧡

Gathering with our hospice family for a seasonal meal is such a wonderful reminder of the warmth, community, and comfort that make ARCH feel like home.

The beautiful cake made by Ryan Gridzak of Sweet Daddy Confection was wonderful! 🙌 🍰

We are endlessly grateful to everyone who joined us, helped out, and shared a meal with us. And to our incredible community who makes it possible. 💙
