Happy Caturday from Willow & Sage! These sweet floofs are a bonded pair of 9-month-old girls. 😺😺They were nervous when they came into the shelter, so we sent them into foster care where they could settle into a calmer environment. ❤️ With a bit of love and patience, they’ve really come out of their shells! They are sweet and affectionate, have cute chirpy meows, and definitely embody some silly orange cat behavior. 😂🧡 They can often be found snuggled up together, and will definitely make excellent snuggle buddies for their furever family. They will need some patience and understanding as they adjust to a new home, but they’re so worth it! Please apply if you’d like to meet them. 🐾

Our Happy Tail this week is from a sweet pup named Gus!

Gus (formerly Red) was born here at the shelter and raised in foster care. He was lucky enough to meet his adopter at our event last week at Outspoken, and she adopted him the very next day! 🥰

She sent us this happy update and these adorable photos (the first two are from their meeting!) She says:

“Gus is living his best life! This calm guy is coming out of his shell and has the funniest personality. He definitely loves people and is already attached to my hip! I chose him because of how calm he was, he just melted into my arms. Everyone who meets him and hears his name says he looks like a Gus. He can be a bit nervous but is so curious at the same time. His wrinkly little head just melts everyone’s hearts!” 💕

We could see right away that this match was meant to be, and we’re so happy for Gus and his new mom! Thank you to her for reaching out with this happy update. 🐾

We’d like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who supported us last week at our event with OutSpoken Brewing ! We had a great time seeing everyone, chatting with you about the pets you’ve adopted from us over the years, and introducing you to some of our adoptable shelter pups. 😊

🐾Adoptable dog Peter loved meeting you all! He is the goodest boy and still available for adoption.

🐶The Taylor Swift puppies got so many cuddles from everyone! Reputation, Evermore, Midnights, and Showgirl are still searching for their furever homes - but Red found his happy furever through the event! Check back later as he’s our Happy Tail this week.

🎟️ Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets for our “Fetch a Fortune” 50/50 in person and online!

Happy Thursday from handsome Dexter! Dexter is a 2-year-old shepherd/lab mix who is searching for his furever home. ❤️ He’s a sweetheart who likes being by his people, and he has excellent leash-manners - this guy is a dream walking buddy! He loves his outside time (especially playing fetch) and loves all sorts of toys. 😊 Dexter has been a bit dog-reactive and we feel he may do best as the only dog in the home. 🐾 Please apply if you’d like to meet him!

We’re running low on bedding at the shelter - if you have any extras at home we’d love to take them off your hands! ❤️

We’re most in need of:

🐶Sheets and larger blankets for the dogs (but please no comforters!)

😺Towels and smaller blankets for the cats

The shelter is open daily (including weekends) from 12-5 if you have any you’d like to drop off. 😊🐾 Thank you for helping us to keep the shelter pets comfortable!

Happy Whisker Wednesday from handsome Philodendron! 😺 Phil is a sweet, 1-year-old guy who came to us in search of his soft place to land. He was found outside and had a little healing to do, but he’s settled right in with us and is ready to be your new best friend! Phil is a sweet guy who loves a cozy spot to curl up, we love how he tucks his little peets in when he sits down. 🥰 He has the biggest ears you ever did see and is such a cutie!
